Students and employees at the University of Gothenburg can book the libraries' group and individual study rooms.
You can book a group or individual study room two weeks in advance and book up to two sessions per day. A session is at least 30 minutes long and no more than four hours long.
In total, you can book up to four hours per day, and a maximum of twelve hours at a time. Your booking will be invalid if you do not use the room within 30 minutes of the start time of your booking. In that case, someone else may use the room.

There are many who would like to use the libraries' group- and individual study rooms. Please cancel your booked room if you no longer need to use it.
There are around 60 group study rooms available for booking at the Gothenburg University Library. The rooms are located at the following libraries:
The rooms have tables and chairs with room for four to eight people. Most of the rooms are equipped with a computer and a whiteboard. Some rooms have a large flat screen for connecting to your own computer.
There are two bookable study rooms at the Humanities Library. The rooms are located on floor 8 above the quiet reading room and can only be accessed via stairs.
There is one bookable study room at the Social Sciences Library on Vasagatan. The room is located on floor 5 next to the lift.
The rooms are equipped with a desk, a chair and a reading light. The rooms do not have any technical equipment. Please use headphones for video calls.
