Finding the time and space for writing can be a challenge. By participating in a writing retreat you will have the opportunity to write in a focused environment with other students, and to learn how to sustain effective writing strategies in your studies.
About the writing retreat
The purpose of a writing retreat is to get away from the distractions of everyday life to concentrate fully on your academic writing. A retreat facilitator from the Unit for Academic Language will guide you through a structured half day of individual writing and group reflections on the writing process.
Recommendations for participants
- Plan ahead: What do you want to write and for what purpose?
- Avoid bringing anything to read (apart from your own text). The purpose of this half day is to focus on writing.
- Make sure that you can stay for the whole event.

Last day to register is 26 April.
- Maximum number of participants is 15.
- Coffee, tea and fika is included.
