How do we know if an image or tweet is real? What information do we see in our feeds and what do we miss? Take part in the exhibition “The Glass Room: Misinformation Edit” running from June to October at the Biomedical Library.
The exhibition explores how social media and the internet have changed the way we read and react to information. As a visitor you can learn why spotting ’fake news’ can be harder than you think, and how the concept of ’fake news’ is as big a problem as the news it describes.
The Glass Room: Misinformation Edit exhibition is produced by Tactical Tech, an NGO that works with citizens and civil society organisations to explore and mitigate the impact of technology on society.
